Poppy Spock is the proprietress of alla Poppy, a blog about systems, fashion, gear, fitness, and food. I'm studying for my ACE personal trainer certification, and I skate for The Fury on The Windy City Rollers. TFFY! I'm also a trainer and skating instructor for WCR and Derby Lite. Mobile Chernobyl is a Chicago commercial real estate professional who recently earned her MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In a former life, she was a nuclear propulsion trained Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. She is the lead singer of the classic rock/alternative cover band Prodigal Son and an executive board member of the non-profit organization Real Estate Takes Heart, and skates with the Haymarket Rioters on the Windy City Rollers. She also has a sad attempt at a blog, Roller Derby, Life, The Universe and Everything.
Slammah Montana is a former skater with the Windy City Rollers, where she played for the Double Crossers for 3 seasons. Pre-derby, she co-wrote and performed in several shows with the Chicago-based sketch comedy group, The GeekOuts!. These days, she occassionally blogs at www.kymberland.com, plays the ukulele at a beginner level, and gets way too competitive at bar trivia nights.
